Friend's Community Church was started on Mother's Day, 1999.  A core group of 12 people met for several months in the Recreation Room in Saltville. In September, 1999, we held our first "public" service in the gym at Saltville Elementary School. We continued to meet there until the summer of 2001 when we were fortunate enough to purchase the building we're in now. God has really blessed us in this ministry.
